Herndon

Found myself watching the Anna Nichole Show today, and actually enjoying it. For those that have never seen this phenomenon, it's alot like stepping in dog shit with bare feet. Sure it's warm and gooey, and kinda feels cool between your toes, but reality does set in, it is dog shit, and you end up doing the "I have poopy on my foot, rub it in the grass dance". In order to cleanse my mental palette of this harrowing experience I watched one of my old school favorites "Pump Up The Volume", a story starring Christian Slater as a ner-do well who moves to suburbia and comes to the epiphany that life sucks and he becomes a pirate radio star. Pretty cool movie except that we're sopposed to believe that anyone would be freaked out by Samantha Mathis as the "Whip Me, Beat Me Lady" lusting after our mind and body. I can relate to the story as I also am a city boy displaced in Herndon VA. Yes you heard right, Herndon, rolls off the tongue like a loogey doesn't it? I won't go so far as to say there is no culture here, there is Mexican culture, Hindu Culture, and heaps of "Good Ole Boy" thrown in for flavor. There must be some cool people here somewhere, where are the blood dolls hiding? Even the company of cheesey Manson worshipping mall goths would be welcome at this point, sad but true. Bleh this sucks. Happy Harry Hardon says, "Stay Hard America"!
